Affiliate : Jet SkiingRiding three different types of jetskis, this motorised watersports experience is perfect for those wanting to have a go at everything! This 25 acre fresh water lake at Reading in Berks, is a superb setting for donning a wetsuit and buoyancy aid and learning to ride a Jetski.
You'll soon see Jet ski riding is not as easy as it looks, but with expert tuition on hand, we're guessing you might even graduate from kneeling on the craft to actually riding the jetski standing up!
After that, there's the jetbike - a relatively stable craft compared to the jetski, but don't be fooled. As soon as you open the throttle, you'll be off faster than you can say 'How many miles to the gallon does it do?'!. Jetbikes are great fun and easy to control as they speed across the water.
Finally, there's the jetRIB. A brand new invention, it merges a jetski with a mini Rigid Inflatable Boat to give you a stable and incredibly nippy little craft that delights in sliding round corners and skimming across the water. Feel the wind in your hair as you take to the special jetRIB course full of tight turns and fast straights!
After your fun-packed time on the water, you'll no doubt want to relax. The centre has drinks and snacks being served and even a BBQ area in summer plus a lakeside bar! A superb way to spend a day by the lake.

Facilities: Free use of clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, food and drink available.
Provide participants with wet suits and buoyancy aids.
Head protection also available.
Barbeque meal deal on the day at £5 per person.
You will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your allocated slot for a full safety briefing.
Spectators and Facilities: Friends and family are very welcome, there are seating areas around the lake along with a children's paddling area. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available to purchase from the clubhouse. Plus a fully licensed bar. There are changing rooms with toilets and hot power showers.

Notes:
Not suitable for disabled people.
There is a minimum age of 16 for this experience. These experiences are unsuitable for non swimmers. All under 18's must be accompanied on site by a parent or guardian who must sign an indemnity on their behalf. An instructor will ride on board for the initial training; once they are happy with your ability you can then ride solo. At the instructors discretion you may be able to ride with a passenger (jetbikes and jetribs only). There may be other craft using the lake.

Location Info:
The venue is a 25 acre lake which provides a one mile course for jetbikes and jetribs. Due to its greater difficulty Jetskiing takes place in a separate buoyed off training area. The venue is easily accessible via junction 11 of the M4.
Three miles from Reading town centre.
Situated: south west from Reading city centre.
Free parking available.

Timings:
Morning or afternoons triple Jet ski experience
Minimum of 1 hour on the water. (More depending on group size).
Please allow 2 hours for the activity to included safety briefing, changing into wetsuits etc.
Experiences operate from April to October 31st, six days a week (closed Tuesdays). Sessions are usually available between 11:00am and dusk.
